From Chris Stevens – This weekend was our annual BRF Time Trial. My teammate Corey was the winner and it’s the first time in the history of the event it was won on a road bike (historically won on time trial bikes).
I came in 3rd place. Notice my glasses are gone 😊 The pieces to the glasses are stuffed in my pocket. For the first time ever I had them come off during a race so I stopped and went back to pick up the parts to the tune of a good minute lost. I was 3rd place and Corey beat me by 5 seconds for first place! Ha!
However, the best part of the pic is the valve stem alignment. Notice how the wheel logos are perfectly aligned and the valve stems are at 9 and 3 o’clock perfectly! Mind you this is me all out 200 yards from the finish line. I rode 75 miles before the race, none of this was on purpose for valve alignment and it was 94 miles into my ride!
I think this is one of the coolest pics I’ve seen of me on a bike, but probably could have been cooler with sunglasses!
