SUMMARY:Wonderful Water Half Marathon and Half
DESCRIPTION:Come out and run one of the most scenic courses you’ve ever been on. Meandering through the Stevens Point city trails\, roads\, and paths\, along the Wisconsin River and past Lake Joanis\, this Half Marathon and 5K will not disappoint! \nHalf Marathon Race Starts at 9:00 am 5K starts at 9:30 am. \nPacket pick-up will be from 4-8 on Friday night and starting at 6:00 am the day of. \nThe Wonderful Water Run gathers community around a precious resource. Hosts of the run are committed to supporting the protection of Central Wisconsin’s groundwater through a direct contribution to Golden Sands Resource Conservation & Development Council. Through their work\, the impact of local agricultural practices is decreased\, invasive species are managed\, and more of our community members are educated about local water systems.
