Maple Staples – Trail Mix

I love the smells and the warmth of baking. It seems like it warms and nourishes the soul. The only problem is I can only eat so many baked goods at a time. Here is an easy way to get your baking fix and have a great snack to take with you.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 Cup Almonds
  • 1/2 Cup Raw pecan Halves
  • 1/3 Cup Unsweetened Coconut Chips
  • 1/4 Cup Pepitas
  • 4 Tbsp Maple Syrup
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1/4 Cup M&Ms
  • 1/4 Cup Dried Cranberries

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 300F
  2. In a medium Bowl, Mix the Almonds, Pecans, Coconut Chips, Pepitas, Maple Syrup, and Salt. Stir Evenly to coat
  3. Spread the mix onto a Lined Baking sheet
  4. Bake for 20 Minutes Remove from Oven and let cool
  5. Transfer to a clean Bowl add M&Ms and Dried Cranberries
  6. Store in an airtight container
