It’s national smoothie day! Feel free to go out and celebrate, and with the wide varieties of smoothies and smoothie recipes there are out there it’s easy to find something that might not only be health for you but might also please your pallet.
If you are not a smoothie Sommelier feel free to start out simple. Try a few fruits some yogurt and blend. Feel a little more daring try adding some vegies and some spices to make a savory mix. Feeing sluggish add some coffee for a shot of caffeine. Try using Frozen fruit instead of ice, lactose got you down try using an avocado to add some creamy texture.
Since this is the longest day of the year, we have extra time to create and enjoy. And even better it is Friday, you can even add some “adult ingredients” for a smoothie cocktail party.
